Their second book is entitled Sevan: A Gay, Disabled Teen Romance. SAGDR is the story of Evan Jacobson and Sam Davidson. Evan Jacobson is a funny, smart, quirky, brown-haired, blue-eyed, gay, disabled teenager growing up in Alabama. Sam Davidson is his loyal, caring, kind, goofy, nerdy, blonde-haired, green-eyed, “straight”, able-bodied best friend. They love each other; not on a best friend level, but on a deep, passionate, romantic level. Sam loves Evan with all of his heart and with every fiber of his being, he’s just too scared to come out of the closet as bi and tell him. Evan thinks Sam is still straight, and even if he was gay, Evan thinks Sam is way too far out of his league. Even in the middle of their relationship dilemma, Evan couldn’t imagine a life without Sam, and Sam can’t imagine a life without Evan, even just as best friends. And they might not ever have to.
