Live documentation of a bad back pain flare. Thursday, April 30, 2020 11:23pm- Friday, May 1 12:32am
April 30, 2020 11:23pm- Another night starting with ice cream, muscle relaxer, heat pads and pillows. This is gonna be a long one.
11:28pm- This one seems unrelated to atmospheric pressure, as my barometer seems to be stabilizing. Maybe we have a warm front?
11:33pm- Tonight’s sponsors include: jabbing back pain radiating from the center through my hips, a can of Fanta, 10mg of Baclofen, store brand Cookies and Cream ice cream, a Pore Enrichment heating pad, 3 regular head pillows, a body pillow, a contour pillow, and my favorite blankets!
11:34pm- Oof this hurts.
11:37pm- This is dull constant jabby. Just glad it’s not worse.
11:49pm- Not the hips too…COME ON!
11:51pm- Sooo tempted to pick up that mentality of “suck it up” and throw myself into schoolwork since I’m awake, but I’m reminding myself that my pain is legitimate and that I need to listen to my body first.
11:52pm- And it’s just getting progressively worse. Now the hips are spasming.
11:55pm- 5 minutes to May 1. Oof that’s when pacer zeros go back in.

12:02am- I think my early intervention methods worked? Probably the pillows and heat are working because although, yes this is bad, it isn’t as bad as it could be.
12:04am- Alright I’m going to try not to jinx anything but say that I might be going to sleep soon? Please body?
12:05am- Yeah, I’m still hurting, it’s just kinda more manageable now.
12:21am- Here we go again. Ugh
12:23am- Back spasmsOUCH
12:26am- Back then hip then back then hip. Tonight’s is a cycle. What is going ON?!
12:32am- Alright now can I try to sleep again? Goodnight hopefully, idk though.
